Prison: Gems and trading with players

Your Gems
Gems are Prison's money. Type /gems to see your balance and history; /money, /bal and /balance work too. Gems stay in Prison and cannot become Survival Larks.
Ways to earn Gems
• Sell blocks with /sell, or let your backpack's Auto-sell do it.
• Open Rank Crates with keys from milestones. Every crate gives Gems.
• Win chat games: in Prison, each of your first 20 counted wins a day pays 1,000 Gems. How chat games work
What Gems buy
Ranks and prestige, your first backpack (2,000 Gems), Auto Pickup level 1 and Auto-sell (1,000 Gems each), Big Break level 1 (10,000 Gems) and Mining Buddy level 1 (50,000 Gems). Most later upgrades use Upgrade Points instead.
Trading with players
Use the Market Trader villager in the lobby, Market in the Prison Menu, or /market. Browse items other players sell, list your own items for Gems, and collect items you bought or items from listings that ended. You can have up to 10 listings at a time, and each lasts 72 hours. The menu shows the price and any fees before you confirm.
