First Resources

Gather outside protected town
Find land where gathering is allowed. Mining uses qualifying natural blocks; placed blocks do not award fresh Mining XP.

Try a small batch
Break a few stone blocks, then open /skills and choose Mining. If XP did not change, read its training cards before repeating the same action.

The First Thread
Start the quest in /story. Its current gathering target is 32 qualifying resources. Natural stone and ores, logs and supported mature crops can count. Follow the current quest card for the remaining claim, chest and market steps.
