Prison

Prison: your backpack and auto-sell

Current guide — checked 23 September 2026

Get a backpack
A backpack stores extra blocks. Buy one for 2,000 Gems from the Upgrades villager in the lobby, or from the Backpack card in /upgrade. You confirm before you pay. It goes in hotbar slot 2 as an item named Backpack. Right-click it or type /backpack to open it. You cannot drop it, its contents stay with you when you die, and you keep it when you prestige.

Space
Each row holds 576 blocks. Your rank gives rows: 1 at A, 2 at C, 3 at E, 4 at G, 5 at I and 6 at J. The More space upgrade adds rows sooner: 2 rows for 180 Upgrade Points (UP), 3 for 450, 4 for 1,080 (Mine B), 5 for 2,700 (Mine C) and 6 for 5,400 (Mine D). They need pickaxe levels 1 to 5 in the same order. Six rows is the most.

Filling and selling
Near a mine, plain blocks that mine buys move from your inventory into your closed backpack. /sell also sells what is in your closed backpack.

Backpack upgrades in /upgrade
Auto Pickup picks up dropped items near you: within 3 blocks for 1,000 Gems, 5 blocks for 540 UP (Mine C, pickaxe level 5), 8 blocks for 1,800 UP (Mine F, pickaxe level 10).
Auto-sell sells your blocks for you: 1,000 Gems once, with pickaxe level 2. It starts at 64 blocks every 30 seconds. It works only while you are online near your mine with your backpack closed. You can switch it on or off.
Sell more blocks raises each auto-sale to 128, 256, 512, 1,024 or 2,048 blocks.
Sell faster shortens the wait between auto-sales to 20, 15, 10, 5 or 2 seconds.
Both need Auto-sell. Their five levels cost 180, 540, 1,350, 2,700 and 5,400 UP, and need Mines A to E and pickaxe levels 2 to 6.
